David Casiano

The late David Casiano served two terms as Parker’s fifth Mayor from 2004 to 2012, following two years as a Town Councilmember from 2002 to 2004.

Mayor Casiano was always available to the public under his “Councilman is in” and “Mayor is in” programs.  He supported local churches, schools and outreach programs and was instrumental in the building of many local businesses, infrastructure and Parks and Recreation.

A few of Casiano’s accomplishments as an elected official included land acquisition and the building of Parker Fieldhouse, Railbender Skate Park, O’Brien Park North (also known as Carnival Hill), the Police Department, and the PACE Center.  He was instrumental in the planning and relocation of the Parker Library, resulting in a much larger facility, the leasing of the Old Town Hall building to the Parker Task Force, and blocking the retail sales and cultivation of marijuana in Town.  The square mileage of the Town increased significantly during his tenure.  Mayor Casiano was proud of these accomplishments.

We are happy to honor David Casiano for his Service Above Self to the community of Parker.
