Zone Conference 2014

Past District Governor Mike Oldham and Rotary Club of Parker member, Kam Breitenbach, recently attended the Rotary Zones 21b nd 27 conference at the Westin Hotel in Westminster, Colorado. Both attended training sessions and learned of the declining membership in Rotary in the United States. We need to find new ways to attract new members and retain our current members. The highlight of the Conference was the presence of Rotary International President Gary C. K. Huang.
A House of Friendship was set up for a very limited number of participants. The Rotary Club of Parker was selected to showcase our Rotary Community Corps of Parker (special needs group). There was much interest in our table and a lot of information was shared. Kam was able to visit with President Huang and explain how our RCC operates. President Huang took our RCC trifold to share.
