Virtual Club Meeting -- Josh Anderson
Respire Haiti Christian School

Josh Anderson spoke to us about the programs of Respire Haiti.  Respire Haiti started as a feeding program for Haitian children, and has since expanded dramatically to include

  • a school that serves over 300 Haitian children
  • a medical clinic that offers a variety of medical services to students, staff and their families as well as the local community.

Mike Oldham of the Rotary Club of Parker was instrumental in spearheading a Global Grant from Rotary International that provided a solar system for Respire.  In addition to providing the electrical power for the school and medical facilities, the solar system powers a water pumping station that provides clean water for the local community.
