Thank you to the many members who have already donated/pledged to this year’s fundraising campaign. If we all pitch in, we can make the club’s goal of $5000. Remember that the Rotary Club of Parker Foundation will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for contributions from $25 to $50. Please contact Lew Million at lelmillion@aol.com to make your pledge for this year.
Our club will host a table at the conference. We need club members to help staff the table from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Contact Ken Claiborne at kmclaiborne2@gmail.com if you can help.
We will honor the recent passing of Rotarians Bob Kramer, Don Clasen, and Dean Weaver in the Celebration of Life presentation at the conference.

Our neighbors in Nebraska and Iowa have recently experienced terrible flooding. Our District will be coordinating with the affected Rotary Districts to help. We will discuss how our club can participate at our meeting on April 18.
To make a personal donation, write your check to the Denver Southeast Rotary Club Foundation (write Nebraska Flood Relief in the subject line) and send it to

Many thinks to the members who participated in the visioning exercise on Saturday, April 6! We will be hearing more about the outcomes of this discussion at future meetings.
Thank you also to a terrific group of facilitators…
Our speaker on April 4 was Jerry Caruso, the founder and director of Caruso Family Charities. As Jerry described it, “Caruso Family Charities is dedicated to assisting families of a child, adolescent or young adult being treated in Colorado for a life-threatening illness or life-altering event. Our mission is to help relieve some of the financial pressures so the family may focus on caring for their sick child.” Jerry shared his personal story of how he was led to start the charity, and provided stories of some of the families that have been impacted by their work.
For more information, click here to check out their website or click here to download the brochure Jerry and his daughter Andrea handed out at our meeting.
