We congratulate Jalen Sisneros, our April Student of the Month for Chaparral High School! Jalen serves the Chaparral community in a variety of roles, including Link Crew and the Interact Club. She has played basketball for Chap all four years. Jalen is already engaged in her career goal of teaching as a student intern teaching math to at-risk students at Overland and Eaglecrest High Schools. As a staff member commented, “[Jalen] is a tireless worker driven by a relentless desire to learn and achieve and by a huge and giving heart.”
Jalen has already enlisted in the US Army. She plans to attend Montana State University to major in secondary education. We wish you all success in achieving your dreams, Jalen!
