This year, there were two nominees for the Parker Impact Award. Nominees included Nicole DeVries, who serves as the Outreach Director for Southeast Christian Church and Joint Task Force, and a group nominee consisting of the Douglas County Sheriff's SWAT Team, South Metro Fire and Rescue and the Parker Police Departmnt who were the first to respond when an active shooter situation occurred close to Sierra Middle School in which Detective Dan Brite was critically wounded.
Given the strong commitment to service by both nominees, each received the award. Congratulations to all award recipients for a job well done; we are very proud of you!
Thanks to our Parker Impact Award Chair, Rotarian Tom VanderHeiden, for all of his hard work! Good job Tom!
