2014 YRLA & RLYA Students
Michael Loomer is a student at Sierra Middle School who said that there was not one downside to his week at YRYLA.  Everyone became great friends in one week and he really enjoyed the Matrix Team Building Experience.  “If everyone had a chance to go to this camp, the world would be a better place.”  Michael’s passion is a Cancer Challenge Research.  He battled the disease at 2 ½ years of age.
Jackson Hoops learned to trust people and his team.  He told us that it was a great experience for everyone who went to camp.  He has a passion for football and basketball.
 Kaitlyn Daniels is a student at Cimarron Middle School.  She said there were awesome counselors.  She learned to respond and trust each other and came back with a whole list of suggestions for her school, such as doing more community service.  It was just the greatest thing! Kaitlyn’s passion is Education, literacy and the ability to read and write.
Erin Koons attends Ponderosa High School and was not sure what to expect and felt lost and confused before she went to camp.  RYLA made an impact on her and she learned to trust others.  She thanked Rotary for the opportunity to go.  Erin has a passion for communication and advertising.
Molly Kamper is a student at Ponderosa High School and stated that she came back a changed person, completely different.  She made a new family that she is going to keep forever.  She enjoyed the explanation of the 4-Way Test and how to use it in your daily life.  Molly said it is hard to remember the life she lived before RYLA.  Molly has a passion for charity and non-profits that focus on community need.
Kelly Dassler found RYLA to be an empowering experience where everyone learned a lot about others.  She joined the  the Chaparral High School Interact Club for the SERVICE opportunities.  Kelly has a passion for reading and would like to help children learn to read.
