Dr. Jill Pitcher, DO – Rocky Vista University:

Dr. Pitcher was introduced by Rotarian Don Clausen and was presented a check by Don from the Rotary Club of Parker for the water filter project. Dr. Pitcher is an associate professor in the Primary Care Department of Rocky Vista University and she addressed the school’s global medical assistance efforts and, specifically, assistance and the use of water filters funded with assistance from the Rotary Club of Parker in Kenya.

Major Steve Garcia, Colorado State Patrol (CSP):

Major Steve Garcia, is Commander of the Colorado State Patrol Training Services Branch. In a position separate from his CSP work, he serves as Head of National Football League (NFL) Security for the Denver Broncos. He provided an interesting in-depth look into security management throughout the NFL from a “behind the scenes” perspective. For example, he indicated that he is responsible for providing the football inflation checks before, at half-time and after each home game of the Denver Broncos. He manages the canine team present during games and is responsible for conducting investigations into NFL player infractions, violations and misconduct both on and off the field.
